Why windows with a view are so important?
Windows are something that many of us take for granted – they’re just part of the houses we live in or the buildings we work in. And yet, windows can be vital especially for those who spend a lot of time indoors.
Personally, if I were to choose an office or a space, I would definitely choose the one that has a window with a view. For me it is so much more than just something to let in light and air. But why?
Many studies have found there is a link between nature and stress reduction. So the essence of a view window is for psychological and health purpose. But could that mean that the point of staring out of a window is, paradoxically, not to find out what is going on outside? Probably. It is, rather, an exercise in discovering the contents of our own minds.
