The film tells the story of Maks Fabiani, an architect of the Austro-Hungarian Empire – a thinker and inventor, a doctor of technical sciences, and a professor at the Vienna University of Technology. He was an architect and urban planner of international renown, who realized his grand architectural and urbanistic visions in Vienna, Ljubljana, Trieste, Gorizia, and other European cities.
